Right on the ocean ( actually 12 feet above the ocean at high tide).
We set the tent up facing southeast and got the sunrise over the inlet each morning.
Kids had plenty of space to go play in the small woods nearby, or down the slope to the "beach" at low tide or in the campgrounds playground.
We adults could sit by the fire at night and listen to the waves under the stars.
During the day, the tide went out, way out, and the clammers got down in the muck of the inlet and walked around a hundred feet from shore in their knee-waders.
At night, the temperature dropped to below 50 degrees in June
Oceanside, well kept up, great for the kids
