Houlton a place close to Heaven!
"Houlton in July"
The Houlton area is a wonderful place to bring up children and live your life. I am originally from the Houlton area. I now live in Connecticut and travel there about once or twice a year.
About Houlton: It has a lovely center with local shops and commerce for the area. The potato were in blossom as well as many trees and flowers. There is a boy in the boot statue fountain by the fire house on the east side of the town. Just follow Main Street from the center going east and it is on your right (just before Main and Military Streets intersect). The weather is usually warm and pleasant in the summer times. Come and enjoy a truly coloquial town in Maine.
Also, Houlton is just 2 miles from the Canadian Border. Another adventure all in it self.
