modern design in great sea & riverside location

Best (5.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on June 9, 2005

Modern, refinished rooms in an old structure. Great bathroom w/ neat, designy sink, marble tiles on floor. A 10 minute (3/4 mile) walk from downtown, right on the water, literally at the junction of the Kennebunkport river and the ocean. This is one of the best hotel experiences I've had.

We paid $119 + tax for a Sunday night stay in early June, full bed, smaller room, still had ocean & river views. This included a great continental breakfast in the restaurant for 2. In-season, weekend rates are much higher. See their webpage where rates are listed.

Drawback: no refridge in our room, other rooms may have them.
