When you arrive at Skydive New England, you'l see areas where you can pitch a tent. Just stay behind the cones, as those are the markers where the tandem skydivers land. There are bathrooms, showers, so feel free to ask anyone where they are. There is no charge to pitch a tent or to use the facilities, either.
Just find a level spot if you can or lay the sleeping bags downhill. Check for rocks before you pitch the tent.
They usually have a bonfire every weekend, and a band, too, so you may wish to pitch the tent furthest away from the fire if you are sensitive to sound.
Bring a towel, tent, sleeping bag, crash mat (get one from Eastern Mtn Sports-EMS), soap & shampoo and you'll be all set.
Camping under the night sky, you can see all the stars. The bonfire is awesome and a great opportunity to meet and chat with people from all over the world. People who skydive for a living follow the sport from season to warmer climates. I've met people from Italy and England, and heard amazing stories of where they've been..... and maybe it'll give you ideas of where you want to go! ;o)
The next morning, I recommend you get some coffee at the Aroma Joe's Cafe (a booth in the parking lot, like the old Fotomat's) which has Krispy Kreme Donuts and muffins. (You may prefer Aroma Joe's, too!) You passed in on Rt 202 and it was on your left. Simply go back the way you came and it'll be on your right about a mile after the 4-way stop intersection.
