Ogunquit Bed and Breakfast a hidden treasure
I stayed at the Beauport Inn a few days ago. It was great, the room was really clean and comfortable. The pool area was the best and very relaxing. I saw two deer in the field in the front yard and it is within walking distance from the center of Ogunquit!! The hosts (George and Cathy) were great and helped me find a nice restaurant for dinner. They have online booking which so many bed and breakfasts dont have and I actually tried to call a few in Ogunquit without any answer. So that is how I found my relaxing weekend in Ogunquit!! I would highly recommend the Beauport Inn. (the breakfast was great too!!!)
Unique Quality: Fire place in every room, nice for cool nights! Jacuzzi is very relaxing and clean. Pool is large and sunny deck area.
Best Ogunquit Bed and Breakfast !!!!
I have stayed at this Inn twice and both times the service and rooms were superb. The hosts Cathy and George are the best. They make you feel right at home. The Inn is beautiful. It is on quite a few acres and I saw a deer in the driveway!!! Very Romantic yet it is located only a 5 minute walk from downtown Ogunquit.
Unique Quality: The Beauport Inn has a pool, hot tub, and steam room! Fire place in every room. Lots of Privacy!
Heaven away from the Water
We loved this place! There is a hot/jacuzzi tub, a swimming pool, a deck, rooms with screened porches, fantastic breakfasts, helpful hosts. It's really a marvelous place. We would have changed our plans and stayed all our time in Maine here had we known how lovely it was. We're looking forward to returning during the cooler months for a cozy, chilly visit.
I really can't recommend The Beauport highly enough. The owners, Cathy and George, owned an inn right in downtown Ogunquit for a while, but left for more quiet pastures. Technically, it isn't in Ogunquit, the townline begins a little down the street. It's not on the beach, but it's also away from the hubbub.
Unique Quality: The rooms are incredible. Each has a unique and very tasteful style, and the amenities are just what you need. They are a good size, and each of the four rooms has something unique in its decoration. Two room have screened porches attached, one opens out onto a garden path, and the suite has direct access to the deck and its own little screened area.
George makes fantastic breakfasts, and coffee is available before breakfast. Cathy made some fantastic zucchini muffins while we were there.
Directions: Off Route 1, take either entrance onto Clay Hill Road. You'll see the Beauport set back from the road. Depending on the direction, it'll be after a ball field on your left, or after several residential houses on your right.
