Walk along the beach - it is 3 miles long! There is a trail called The Marginal Way (1 1/4 mile) that takes you along the beach and to Perkins Cove, a quaint fishing village with lots of great restaurants. Great beach - the tide pools are fascinating!

Views are great of the harbor and the ocean. Waiter was very helpful in showing us how to eat the lobster - there is a very special technique to attacking this crustacean! Gotta have Lobster!
Ogunquit is a great place if you want to see Maine, but you still need certain amenities. There are gourmet cheese and wine shops, great restaurants, lots of entertainment, and beautiful (but not too taxing) walks. The beaches have sand AND rocks, and the seafood is super-fresh.
The accomodations range from chains to the BEST INN EVER. (See my hotel page!) A wonderful, wonderful place...and I'm not just saying that because I got married nearby. :)
