Boutiques, bookstores, galleries, coffee houses, pubs and restaurants are today housed in renovated 19th century brick and granite buildings along the tree-lined streets of Old Port. This thriving retail district was once a bawdy, rough and tumble section of town. The cobblestone streets lead to the working waterfront where ferries ply the water, fishing boats unload their catch of the day, cruise ships dock and sailboats set to the wind.
