I'll be in Rockport, Maine, from late September till mid October for a workshop.
Do you have any tip?
For example what I should absolutly not miss in Maine to live a great indian summer?

Shalom Beatrice, the coast of maine is beautiful! rent a car, drive about, bring your camera. Fall foliage is beautiful that time of year. Finally, have a famous maine lobster - delicious! Fred PALS vt (check out my home page)

The Coast of Maine is very nice. Also consider driving down to Boston as well. Just a 2 hour drive from the Portland, ME area

ROCKPORT IS GOOD LOCALE NEAR KENNEBUNKPORT AND ACADIA NATIONAL PARK . BOTH ARE EXCELLENT FOR FALL COLOURS AND KENNEBUNKPORT HAS RICH FEEL FOR INSIGHT INTO OTHER HALFS LIVES.ENJOY

Boothbay Harbor may be touristy, but it is very scenic. Also Camden and New Harbor are great. Portland and Kittery are other options, as well as (farther afield) Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

Camping at Megunticook 'Campground by the Sea'

We were looking for a nice campground as close to the sea as we could get and we found it with Megunticook. There is tent camping, RV sites, and cabins for rent.

The campground has a nice spot with benches for sitting and watching out Penobscot Bay
"Cabin"
I booked the last two nights in a cabin so we could dry out a bit. Two of the cabins are close to the observation deck and sea. This is cabin #2. We lit it at night using an nexpensive string of Christmas lights. Worked great in the tent too. Since we were traveling by train it took up less space than a lantern and the required batteries.
