I love to sit at City Dock and watch the ducks and the boats come in. Add some gelato and you've got a perfect afternoon. I came here on my first anniversary and my husband and I ate gelato and watched the people and just felt calm and happy. The thing I miss the most is peoplewatchign at City Dock.
We invited an internet friend, an Englishman who had immigrated to Canada, to come sailing with us. He had another friend from the same email group who lived in this condo in Annapolis that overlooked the Annapolis harbor. We took our friend to eat hushpuppies, soft crabs, hard crabs and crab cakes (none of which he was familiar with), and also we did an overnight sail in the Potomac.
A simple rollaboard since this was just a weekend trip. The weather in Spring is a bit unpredictable so we bought clothing with layers in case it got cold. I packed comfy walking shoes and an umbrella. Contacts, hair gel, shampoo, contact lens solution, body wash, deodorant, cologne and lotion. My digital camera and memory card reader. My lap top
A quaint, yet spectacular dining experience! This Cafe is a jewel to be found in the neighborhood where it operates. Try to dine outside in the serene garden, surrounded by fresh flowers, and listening to birds and the trickle of the nearby fountain. Everything was good. Especially enjoyed was the Butternut Squash Crab soup.
Buddy's Crabs & Ribs in the historic part of Annapolis, near the USNA. Great seafood and drinks. The rest of Main Street is nice to go out (and meet midshipmen in the evenings), there are a few bars frequented by the locals and mids.
