Scarborough Fair

Beautiful house and spotless. Barry is very pleasant and helpful without being intrusive. Did not meet Jeff. Claudette can cook for me anytime. As big as the house is, could smell breakfast cooking every morning. Plenty of soda and water available and lemonade ice tea and cookies for a late afternoon snack. Nice Halloween decorations.
Perfect location to the harbor, 2 blocks. Nice nighborhood. Would definitely stay here again.
Loved Scarborough Fair!

Wish to recommend this wonderful B & B in Federal Hill - the hospitality of the hosts was phenomenal; the room was excellent from the bed linens to the comfortable chairs, fireplace and thirsty towels. The breakfasts were scrumptious, i.e. gourmet entrees that were plated and served to us with seasonal treats, i.e. pumpkin bread, pumpkin biscotti, Danish stuffed apple pancakes with maple whipped cream, pecans and maple sausage links - just YUM! In the afternoon we were treated to tea and cookies too! The location is excellent for walks and lots of Federal Hills shopping and restaurants - absolutely ideal location. Enjoy Scarborough Fair if you're planning a visit to Baltimore - they are just great!
Great place to stay!

We have nothing but praise for the B&B and its management.
The rooms were very comfortable (we decided to stay an extra night!), the breakfasts were amazing, and the advice we recieved on where to go for dining and sightseeing was so valuable to how much we enjoyed our trip. They were wonderful!
New owners, same great place
by TripAdvisor Member gratefulgirl
This was my second visit to the Scarborough Bed and Breakfast and it was even better this time. With new owners, they have become even more attentive to their guests. Barry was so friendly and accessible. Claudette is still there cooking unbelievably good breakfasts. When they say gourmet breakfast, they mean it. The homemade biscotti as well as the cranberry orange bread are worth the trip. And, the cookies in the afternoon were wonderful, too. There are always cold drinks and ice available.
The rooms are decorated with obvious care. Everything was super clean. If there's anything you need, Barry will see that you get it.
You can't beat the location - in quaint Federal Hill. It's a great area of Baltimore to walk with trendy boutiques and restaurants. Regi's Bistro is a great choice for dinner. The Scarborough offers free parking and you can easily walk to the convention center and the inner harbor. I much prefer staying in this section of Baltimore to the Inner Harbor.
Take notice of this fabulous B&B When In Baltimore

I would like to let every one know about this fabulous B and B. The new owners are some of the nicest innkeepers we have ever met and the warmth and generosity we felt was amazing.
The rooms are perfectly appointed and very comfortable. The new owners will go out of their way to help you with any thing you ask.
The food is outstanding and we never tired of the neighborhood restaurants near by.
Barry was kind enough to direct us and our visiting family to many local shops and specialty stores just a few blocks away. The area is filled with great boutiques , bars and restaurants.
The home made Lavender cookies that were served were out of this world. First class all the way.
My parents could not get over how well priced the rooms were. Just 2 blocks to the inner harbor yet tucked away. My family will always stay here when they visit and I will often join them! Thank you Barry and Jeff!
One of Charm City's Best B&B's
by TripAdvisor Member ESP2
Since my parents took ill my wife and I had been traveling to Baltimore routinely for well over 7 months to look in on things. We took this as an opportunity to sample the B&B's in the area.
While all our stays were pleasant enough at the many fine establishments in and around the city, when we booked into the Scarborough Fair it's fair to say we thought we had died and gone to B&B heaven.
For starters Barry, one of the two owners, is one of the most pleasant innkeepers we've met. He immediately made us feel welcome and looked after. He explained everything we had to know about our stay, and showed us to our accommodations. The rooms throughout the inn were fine rooms tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean with all the modern (and then some) conveniences. With wonderfully warm, cozy beds and pleasant furnishings we found a place we could truly relax.
Now, the breakfasts. Claudette who helps out at the inn and who usually does the meals, is a marvel at creating interesting and delicious twists on the usual breakfast fare. From fresh fruit concoctions with oatmeal and yogurts to outrageously scrumptious pancakes with mango flavored sausage you're in for a treat each and every morning. The Fair is always sensitive to your dietary needs, and didn't mind altering the fat content of some things at my request with no drop off in taste either.
Centrally located for all things Baltimore, we highly recommend this marvelous B&B.

Great Getaway

My boyfriend and I decided to stay at Scarborough Fair after reading so many positive reviews on tihs website--we were very happy with our decision. We loved the B&B, and definitely will stay here again. Barry was extremely helpful, especially by getting us relatively last-minute dinner reservations at Pazo (which we also loved, and highly recommend!) Scarborough Fair is ideally located--just far enough away from the Innter Harbor that the noise and traffic didn't affect us at all, but close enough to walk to without any trouble. I wish we had been able to stay for one more night, but we just didn't have the time. The upside is that we'll have something to look forward to the next time we visit Baltimore!
Great Location-Fantastic Stay

From the moment we entered, we were made to feel right at home. Can't say enough about the location (two blocks from Inner Harbor) or room ( clean, quiet, beautiful). Innkeepers were wonderful and the breakfast was awesome. Don't look any further than the Scarborough Fair if you want a Bed and Breakfast in Baltimore.
Wedding night at Scarborough Fair
by TripAdvisor Member Matildasun
We live in the Federal Hill area and got married at a local venue. We stayed at the B and B so we wouldn't have to go home the night of our wedding.
This turned out to be a terrific decision. The room was beautiful and romantic. The gas fireplace was a nice touch.
Breakfast was amazing, very delicious and beautifully presented.
Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy.

Stay at Residence Inn if possible. Stay away from hotels on Pulasky Highway, dumpy area with unsavory types. Comfort Inn Towson would be second choice, but not really that close to White Marsh.
