The Stonebow is owned and operated by a creative and friendly couple named Julyien and Cathy. At their hands the Stonebow is a charming place on the Casselman River away from the families and crowds of Deep Creek Lake- after all you go out there to escape those things. The Inn is clean and private with just a few rooms. Breakfasts are perhaps the most memorable part of the stay- each morning you are offered a sweet or savory dish that is both filling and unique. Nearby attractions include hiking, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing in the state parks as well as biking along the Allegheny Highlands Trail, all located within a short drive from the Inn. We've been going for 3 years and will be going back for many more.
(this is a repeat of our Tripadvisor review)

Unique Quality: - The Innkeepers are friendly and charming
- The breakfasts are unparalleled!
- The Stonebow is quiet and away from the crowds of Deep Creek Lake.
