Nice rooms
I find Hilton to be one of the most consistent chains in terms of the rooms. The Pikesville Hilton room is very large and very comfortable. And the rooms are quiet; even the ones with a window facing the Beltway. The bathrooms are standard and clean. The restaurant is nothing special but better than some suburban hotel restaurants. The service in general was average. If you're staying in Baltimore with a car, the Pikesville Hilton is a good choice if you want to avoid paying downtown hotel prices. The downtown area is about a 20-30 minute drive, depending on traffic and where you are going.
