 The Boston Inn is not on the top of my list of places to stay in Westminster; in fact, it isn’t even on the list! Unfortunately, we were having some guests and their accommodations fell through. It was a busy time of year and the Boston Inn was the only place we could find a room for them. I usually like to give a place the benefit of the doubt, but I still have bad feelings about putting them there.

The Boston Inn is really one of those old time motor inns from days gone by. It could be rather nice, really, if they updated and were friendly. Our friends came out of their room each day reeking of cigarettes (and they are non-smokers – this was just from the smell in their room). They were kept up at night by those who were staying in the motel for an extended period.

The motel is situated on the busy Route 97 that goes through Westminster and next to a shopping center. There are no public transportation available and no real amenities offered by the hotel. But, saying that, it isn’t an expensive place to stay at night – so if you get desperate enough, it is a bed and a shower.
