Andover Springhill - definately outside Boston
I've stayed at this hotel a couple of times now. The Springhill is an all suite hotel that has lots of amenities at a budget price. It's offered as an alternative to staying in Boston but I would consider it more as a hopping off spot for Northern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. It's a good half hour or more into Boston depending on traffic.
Unique Quality: This Springhill offers an indoor pool along with a nice breakfast. The rooms are clean and the location is somewhat remote. It's located in a business park that is not heavily developed (yet). From the maps, it appears that there is a river close by although I haven't found it yet. It would probably be nice to walk by.
