CLose to the T and in a quiet neighbourhood

The Holiday Inn Boston-Brookline is located in the quiet suburb of Boston known as Brookline. The hotel is on Beacon Street (*not* hill!) which allows for easy access to the T (one of the boston subway lines) into downtown boston.
The hotel layout is quiet odd...the hotel is composed of a few floors that are wide and long rather then a regular tower. We had room 250 - and if I remember correctly the rooms went up to 80 or something....per floor...woo. Wacky.
The room itself was comfortable and had a decent shower. Our TV didn't work, but whatever - wasn't really there to watch TV after all :)
There is parking underground which was 15 bucks a night. Boston is small enough that you can park your car and walk around all over or take the subway. Good location near the subway line and the small shops along Beacon.

Can't Remember My Hotel!

OK. This may sound nuts (and it is!) but I can't remember where I booked a hotel in Boston. All I remember is that it was/is directly across the corner from TD Banknorth Arena. When I booked it a few months ago, it was closed for renovations and set to open in November. It was an old brownstone building. My buddy whom I showed a picture to told me it was directly across from the arena.
Enough clues? LOL!

I live in Boston. You might try calling the arena. There are so many hotels in that area. I wish I could help!!! You can also try a concierge at boston harbor hotel, they might know what it is. THey have good staff and it is close.

Can you remember how much the night rate is. Then go to a Hotel search web page and look for hotels within that $ range.
