Comfortable, easy walk to the metro. We would definitely rebook this hotel.

Good Location, Bring Your Own Pillows

Hotel is very well located and within close walking distance to the Freedom Trail, the park, and lots of shops. Also very close to the subway.

The hotels and rooms are quite nice and the hotel has an indoor pool and a gym. Each room also has a balcony which is very nice.

Only complaint was the pillows and the conceirge. The pillows are incredibly thin and uncomfortable. The conceirge was very nice; however, his recommendations of where to eat and go were not great. He sent us to the town of Glouster when there was a rain storm, which is the worst place to go when it is raining, and sent us to a restaurant that did not exist (we trekked up and down the street and asked many locals, looking for it)

Unique Quality: Each room has a balcony overlooking Boston

Good Location

Stayed here in 2002 when we were unable to get the Tremont in our package. It's in the Theatre district, close to the Park , but Is quite an ugly building, and I'm afraid I wasn't impressed at all. The Reception Staff were rather off ahnd, especially as they had made a mistake with our booking(no apology given) and tried to fob us off with an awful room. The room we eventually got was OK but I don't think I would recommend this place.

MY first VT room share.

Nathalie, Tamir, and I stayed here a couple nights in March 2003. Nice enough room that served our needs well. It has parking available and the staff was right on with anything we needed.

This predated my learning about hotel chains and loyalty programs and what not so we picked it based on price and that we were sharing it. I would stay here again other than there are too many hilton options for me.

Unique Quality: Centrally located and great views from the room.

On the Charles River

We got the hotel through Hotels.com for $109. We had a balcony with a view of the Charles and the room was lovely. It had a king sized bed and was on the 11th floor, so the view was really great.

The hotel has a Greek Restaurant and a Japanese Steak House on the premises. A Trader Joe's is next door, and we walked to Harvard Square for dinner. It took us about 20 minutes, along the Charles' park-like walkway.

Unique Quality: We didn't visit the pool, but the facilities seemed clean and the lobby had several very comfortable areas to wait for other people, or just to relax.

In the morning, we left late, so we didn't get a chance to take advantage of the coffee/tea area provided. It was pretty basic. We had made coffee in the room, but it was just okay. Never enough sugar, and the creamer seemed like it had been through a lot. Good thing there's a Peet's in the Harvard area!

Large rooms with views on the city. From the window of our room we could see the Massachusetts State House (see general tips) and Prudential center.

Just returned from a memorable visit to the Radisson Boston. We were travelling with 2 boys, ages 10 and 11, and they were thrilled with the whole place. The pool was great, the ice cream machine, and they went crazy over the views. We were on the 20th floor facing the John Hancock Building and to walk out on our balcony while the sun rose with a hot cup of coffee brewed in our own coffee maker was pretty amazing. The whole room was great--beds were extremely comfortable, bathroom very roomy, nice toiletries and seemed pretty new and fresh. We did order room service and it was very good. The kids meals were plentiful and the appetizer for adults was delicious and very reasonably priced considering it was room service. The hotel was a very short distance, about half football field, from a Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts and lots of great restaurants. We rode the T on our whole trip as we had gone to the city on the Downeaster Amtrak and the Boylston and Arlington stops were very nearby. All in all a wonderful trip and the Radisson Hotel definitely played a big part in that.

highly disappointed

We stayed at the Radisson Hotel on January 30th 2004 (super bowl weekend). The car honking for the New England Patriots went on from 11:00 until 4:00 am. Our room overlooked the street side and was so noisy we slept only 2 hours. Also, we had a 3:00 am evacuation due to a false fire alarm. That sent several hundred guests into the street in our pajamas into below freezing temperatures. We finally got to sleep at 4:00 am but due to a business appointment had to get up at 6:00am!
The next morning we had a very disappointing breakfast in a cold conference room due to restaurant renovations - What more can I say? I would not stay at this hotel.

Great Location

With tickets to a show at the Colonial Theatre, we searched for a convenient hotel. The Raddison is right in the Theatre District, so we were able to walk to the show. There are several excellent eating establishments nearby. We were also within walking distance to Filene's and shopping district. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We will stay again if we go into Boston.

Good Value

by A TripAdvisor Member

Just returned from a weekend stay at the Radisson. Got a good rate on their website averaging $99 per night for Saturday/Sunday nights.
Location: Good. Two blocks north to the Commons and Gardens, Boylston Green Line T. Reasonable walk to Copley or Downtown/Faneuil. Heart of Theater District. Legal Seafood, McCormick and Schmick's, Bennigans, Finale, California Pizza Kitchen, Maggiano's all within one block.
Room: Very nice. Good-sized. Newish, quality furnishings. Large closet.
Excellent bedding touches. New carpeting. Most everything in the main room area seemed new. Iron and board. Coffee pot and service. A real balcony with a very good view. Little street noise from the 15th floor, but this is a city hotel and it can never be completely avoided. Better than most. Thankfully, no adjoining door. Our trip was as quiet as hotel stays go. Bathroom: Not as renovated as the room. New caulking, though. Clean. Numerous good towels. Respectable and acceptable, but not the same level as the room itself. Public Areas: All well kept.
Halls always clean and clear. Small but pleasant bar area. Service: Good housekeeping. Pleasant, courteous staff. Glitches: Early wake-up calls each morning - that were not requested. The second day we complained. "You're not part of the group?" was the polite response.
Mistake on the bill was quiuckly corrected. Overall, a quality establishment, comfortable. I would stay again.
