Just returned from a memorable visit to the Radisson Boston. We were travelling with 2 boys, ages 10 and 11, and they were thrilled with the whole place. The pool was great, the ice cream machine, and they went crazy over the views. We were on the 20th floor facing the John Hancock Building and to walk out on our balcony while the sun rose with a hot cup of coffee brewed in our own coffee maker was pretty amazing. The whole room was great--beds were extremely comfortable, bathroom very roomy, nice toiletries and seemed pretty new and fresh. We did order room service and it was very good. The kids meals were plentiful and the appetizer for adults was delicious and very reasonably priced considering it was room service. The hotel was a very short distance, about half football field, from a Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts and lots of great restaurants. We rode the T on our whole trip as we had gone to the city on the Downeaster Amtrak and the Boylston and Arlington stops were very nearby. All in all a wonderful trip and the Radisson Hotel definitely played a big part in that.

We stayed at the Radisson Hotel on January 30th 2004 (super bowl weekend). The car honking for the New England Patriots went on from 11:00 until 4:00 am. Our room overlooked the street side and was so noisy we slept only 2 hours. Also, we had a 3:00 am evacuation due to a false fire alarm. That sent several hundred guests into the street in our pajamas into below freezing temperatures. We finally got to sleep at 4:00 am but due to a business appointment had to get up at 6:00am!
The next morning we had a very disappointing breakfast in a cold conference room due to restaurant renovations - What more can I say? I would not stay at this hotel.
Great Location

With tickets to a show at the Colonial Theatre, we searched for a convenient hotel. The Raddison is right in the Theatre District, so we were able to walk to the show. There are several excellent eating establishments nearby. We were also within walking distance to Filene's and shopping district. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We will stay again if we go into Boston.

Just returned from a weekend stay at the Radisson. Got a good rate on their website averaging $99 per night for Saturday/Sunday nights.
Location: Good. Two blocks north to the Commons and Gardens, Boylston Green Line T. Reasonable walk to Copley or Downtown/Faneuil. Heart of Theater District. Legal Seafood, McCormick and Schmick's, Bennigans, Finale, California Pizza Kitchen, Maggiano's all within one block.
Room: Very nice. Good-sized. Newish, quality furnishings. Large closet.
Excellent bedding touches. New carpeting. Most everything in the main room area seemed new. Iron and board. Coffee pot and service. A real balcony with a very good view. Little street noise from the 15th floor, but this is a city hotel and it can never be completely avoided. Better than most. Thankfully, no adjoining door. Our trip was as quiet as hotel stays go. Bathroom: Not as renovated as the room. New caulking, though. Clean. Numerous good towels. Respectable and acceptable, but not the same level as the room itself. Public Areas: All well kept.
Halls always clean and clear. Small but pleasant bar area. Service: Good housekeeping. Pleasant, courteous staff. Glitches: Early wake-up calls each morning - that were not requested. The second day we complained. "You're not part of the group?" was the polite response.
Mistake on the bill was quiuckly corrected. Overall, a quality establishment, comfortable. I would stay again.
