Amazing story- sad but true! read here =================
We had 4 rooms booked here and upon showing up they let us know they were overbooked and had to send 3 out of the 4 of us across town to the Mandarin. We had transportation and meetings arranged, now we are split between 2 hotels. And worse- at the Mandarin we found out the Ritz had lied to us about how many people they sent over, and the Mandarin didn’t have rooms for our entire stay!!! They had arranged for the rooms early that morning so their story about someone deciding not to check out was a lie too. And despite knowing they were going to send us elsewhere, instead of notifying us so we could go straight to the Mandarin from the airport they made us go to the Ritz and then spend 30 minutes in a car to go to the Mandarin.
Always remember Ritz is part of Marriott and it shows that’s where they get their customer service training. Choose Four Seasons and Mandarin anytime you can. I will never go back to a Ritz.
