"Another foray into the world of hometown tourism"
"The plus side"
It's good to live in New England. We have the world's best universities, hospitals and we don't have to pack our asses onto a bus full of sandwich packing seniors to spend two days looking at fall foliage!
"Convenience"
A simple walk around the neighborhood provides all the beautiful foliage I need to see. And, I do need to see foliage; it's just too beautiful to do without.
"Lazy?"
Hey, even if you're lazy you could appreciate it by looking out the window!
"Can we walk?"
Luckily, I love to walk. I've always been a fan of just putting on my walking shoes and getting out. This is an especially great time of the year to do that. I don't have to wait until afternoon for air to get cooler, the leaves are gorgeous and they smell good too.
"Why go it alone?"
Some things are just better shared. Casey loves leaf peeping too.
"Sometimes"
I like to lay on my back and gaze into the sky...
What a lie. I don't lie on the ground, it's nasty! I pointed the camera up for this shot so I wouldn't capture the power lines...
"And lastly"
You know you wanted to see a close up!
