Easter getaway
Based in Chatham, what will we find on the Cape in mid to late March. Always gone to Boston to enjoy the cold winters, so hoping for a change of scenery??

For me, early spring is the best time on the Cape. It's nice and quiet, no tourists at all. Of course, being the off season a lot of smaller shops and attractions will close during that time, but you'll still find plenty to do. Most of the shops in downtown Chatham will be open, but I know of a few that will close. There are a few good restaurants there and also nearby in Harwich, and of course the larger towns line Hyannis will have plenty to do.
I have friends in the Harwich/Chatham area, so it's been a long long time since I've actually done anything touristy, but I recommend taking a drive up to Provincetown. There's plenty of great shopping, and the Pilgrim monument is kinda neat. I climbed it when I was 12, so I don't remember much else about it besides the climb! In Hyannis, there's the Cape Cod potato chip factory, they do tours so that might be cool to do.
