I just adore a penthouse view

"Great Room Upgrade"
I came to Dedham, located just outside of Boston to meet with a client and stayed at the Holiday Inn Dedham. My colleague wasn't thrilled about his room but mine were great! I was upgraded to one of the hotels penthouse rooms which included a giant terrace (the hotel has 4 rooms like this out of 203). I'm not sure why I got so lucky. The room was huge and the giant terrace had iron loungers and a large table/chairs for 6. There was a great panoramic view of the Blue Hills and the Neponset Valley from the balcony. This room was meant for entertaining. It had a totally retro 70s sort of feel to it...including a murphy bed that could be flipped up into a wall cabinet! The only downside was that I couldn't get too much use of the balcony in February.

Friends and CoWorkers from MIT recently had a conference at the Endicott House and a friend, Joe took these pictures. Would you believe ... I forgot my camera that day? I couldn't believe it. Well it was a nice day and a nice place to hold a conference.
A beautiful place with lovely gardens to explore.
