Rookster's Framingham Page
As a resident of Framingham, it is hard to imagine it as a "tourist" destination. However, there are some outstanding opportunities here.
For nature walks, you can visit The Garden in the Woods and Nobscott Scout camp. You can also visit Calahan State Park, and during the summer time visit Larned Beach, Saxonville Beach, or Waushakem Beach.
There are two cinemas with a total of 21 theatres, as many shopping plazas as you can stand (possibly more), and a downtown area that thrives under the influences of Framingham's cultural diversity (there is an excellent Brazillian Bakery here).
The Danforth Musuem of Art is also in the downtown area, and the Framingham Historical Society runs a museum that includes one of the best preserved Revolutionary War fife manuscripts in New England.
Enjoy your stay!
