Great View, So-So Rooms

My wife and I found ourselves in a "No room at the inn" situation (sans the whole virgin birth of the Savior part) following a good friend's wedding at Hammond castle. It was late at night and the summer season had just finished up. After trying several hotels we finally found success at Atlantis. The view of the Back Shore from this hotel is spectacular but the rooms were drab and a bit dated. The rate reflected the view the hotel offered but was a bit high for the quality of the room.

**Edit: Drove by 3/30/08 and the hotel was boarded up. It may only be closed for the Winter season.

**Edit #2: Drove by 9/4/08 and people were in the pool and sitting on the balconies. Atlantis looks to be alive and well.

Unique Quality: Fantastic view of the Back Shore and within walking distance of Good Harbor Beach. Atlantis does have a pool, but we were there off season and it was closed. Atlantis offers a glass enclosed cafe, also with a great view of the shore.
