The town of Nantucket and its harbor
Locals and visitors alike make their way to the bean all year long for the Best of the Cape and Islands (Cape Cod Magazine) Coffee Shop. Nantucket Coffee Roasters showcases world class specialty coffee at the bean on 29 Centre St. There are few places on the east coast who take coffee as seriously as the bean. Pay ommage!
Nantucket is one of those places that is nice just to circumambulate, and discover its history as a seafaring port. After a while, you get to know all of the old family names, the Coffees et. al., as though they were long-lost cousins.
OK, I've already been remonstrated for my slack treatment of this fine island! Truth be told, this cemetery shot is one of my personal favorites, but I do have one or two other photos to share if I root around a bit, so check back later.
