i forgot. i was not born in a small town
"get stuck in "the sandwich""
the sandwich has its perks. the only one i can think of are the beaches.
the bar scene here at the cape isnt really my scene. if anything i go to the taverna cuz i can walk home if necessary (it is literally up the street).
you more likely can find me at the beach at night instead of the bars. i love being oceanside on nice summer nights. i like the cape lifestyle of being laidback and relaxed, so i'd rather stay put and talk with friends than bar hop and pay too much for drinks that i could just make myself.
"favorite memories from the past few years"
i will always hold in my heart a special place for hockey season on the cape. hockey was the one thing that made sandwich and HS a little less boring in the winter.
new years '02. we didnt celebrate the new years. we celebrated the fact that it was 2002 and we were graduating from SHS.
fourth of july '05. went down to the jetties with my friend laura (and our other friend mandy came later) and watched the fireworks. we were down by where the canal connects to the ocean and we could see about a dozen different firework displays. conversations came and went as we admired the sky.
some random weekend '05. me and mandy were dumb and saw that it was lightening out. we went down to lawrence pond and watched the storm coming in. it was by far one of the coolest/stupidest things i've ever done. we watched the clouds rolling in, and the lightning was absolutley awesome. finally one crack of thunfer was sudden and loud. scared the crap out of us and we ran home just as it started to downpour.
labor day '05. my first "floating" excursion down scorton creek with my older brother and sister.
1 bottle of cheap vodka+gatorade+rafts+scorton creek+warm late summer weather=PERFECTION
