Kind of like a spa vacation
Our family needed a place to gather for my mother's memorial service. Since there were a number of children involved, we were hoping to find a place which accommodated kids (or at least didn't actively discourage them). Weber's not only gave us a "bereavement rate" which was better than several econo-box chains I'd contacted, but turned out to be ideal for our group. Consider that the place has a very good restaurant, where we were able to hold a dinner for many friends the night before and later a Sunday brunch which sent everyone on their way, satisfied. Consider that there is a free, 24/7 business center with computers and printers (for those of us who left writing our eulogies until the last possible moment). Consider that rooms are large, many with balconies overlooking the best feature of all: a fabulous indoor pool and hot tub and sauna, wet bar and pool table and ping pong and fitness equipment. The kids frolicked; the adults enjoyed tipping a few and relaxing in the spa or playing a few games. It was a perfect way to unwind.
Unique Quality: Aside from being very easy to access, Weber's is essentially self-contained -- food and entertainment are right there. The amenities are terrific and the staff were very helpful. And the beds were extremely comfortable!
Because this is also a banquet and conference facility, don't be surprised if you see brides walking around.
