Beware of Last Minute Cancellations!
We were actually unable to stay even though we made reservations almost 4 months in advance. It seems that if it is a popular weekend (and our confirmed reservation was for a popular weekend) and another traveler offers these people a better rate, they will cancel your reservation at the last conceivable moment making it almost IMPOSSIBLE to find another. We paid for our stay in early March, had a confirmation number and lots of communication. At the last minute, I got an e-mail (no phone call) telling me my refund check was on the way. Buyer Beware - it's a frustrating situation to be in.
