Radisson: Beautiful even if you're NOT staying there
The Radisson is a gorgeous hotel in dowtown Kalamazoo. It has a great restaurant (please see my tip on Zazios), and hip shops in the lobby. The location cannot be beat, because you are in the heart of downtown Kalamazoo and walking distance to great restaurants, the State Theatre, a beautiful park, the library, and a couple fun bars (mostly college crowd).
The Radisson also has a state of the art gym, with great machines and flat panel televisions. It was recently redone, so the equipment and layout is shiny and new. This is a good insider tip for anyone planning ot move in Kalamazoo or living in Kalamazoo and looking to get a membership at a high scale gym. If you are staying here, make sure to bring your running shoes and gym clothes, because you won't want to miss it.

Radisson: Kalamazoo's best hotel
There's no better location in town. Entertainment, food, and drink are in walking distance. Also buses and the train station are one block or less from this site. Shopping in the Kalamazoo Center includes upscale clothing and gift shops, a florist, and restaurants. Old Burdick's is great for a drink; Webster's upstairs is fine dining. The concierge floor offers free munchies and happy hour. The views can be great; request a room with a view of the city. You'll see why it's called the Kalamazoo valley.
