Where is a GREAT place to eat in Kalamazoo?
Theo's and Stacy's Downtown.
At a restaurant? hehe Sorry, I usually fly right through Kzoo and don't stop to eat.
Five greats:
1. Arie's London Grill Singapore downtown (British Pub with fine-dining type food from Singapore & Britain)
2. Cosmo's Cucina - Irish Pub downstairs, tiny Italian restaurant upstailrs. All very unique recipes made with as much local produce as possible. Located on Vine St, slightly off the beaten path in the middle of a neighborhood. Overall, this is my favorite restaurant in Kalamazoo.
3. Epic Bistro downtown - Fine dining, giant wine list, wonderful chef.
4. Corner Bar - locals only, cheap-as-heck, ex-1920s speakeasy, 18-tap burgers-n-ribs bar. On Vine St. at the corner of Mills. A tacky classic.
5. Webster's - Kalamazoo AAA 4-diamond restaurant. One of only 4 such restaurants in the state.
Oakwood Bistro is by far the best restaurant in Kalamazoo.

Fresh made from scratch pasta, sauses, a delightful salid bar, maybe a bit of wine if you like, and how about some Spumoni for desert. Too bad I am busy working, else I would BE THERE! ;-)
The Gilmore Classic Car Museum in Hickory Corners is not too far from Kalamazoo. It's open daily May thru October and has something for everyone. A rare Tucker, Duesenburgs, and more modern classics are on display. The best way to research it is on their website - see below.
