Few things make me happier on VT than being able to write a tip on a place that is improving. This Days Inn has a lot of potential. Unfortunately it was owned by people who were only interested in profit and not service or quality. The motel got a lot of bad ratings. It is now under new management and they are putting some money into the motel to improve facilities. The restaurant/bar was closed for renovation, and they were painting the inside walls and doorframes to get rid of the ugly green color. My room was nice and decently cleaned. They had bought new towels and linens. Very nice pool area and cabana for the "Superstart" breakfast. The desk clerk, Madison, was very nice. The place was pretty clean. My one complaint; the guy I saw cleaning did not appear to understand English. Pretty inexpensive.
Do Not Stay at the Days Inn 7711 West Saginaw. Dirty, unsafe. Big hangout for nonpaying customers of the Afican American culture. As I said dirty, no amenities in the room as shown online for the price. Waste of your time and money. Not for children- terrible language used by loiters, a.ka. non paying guest.
Unique Quality: Used to be owned by AMERICAN'S.
