A Yellow Bed and Breakfast

Daine and I stayed at the bed and breakfast, Bay View at Mackinac, for our honeymoon and it was such a delight. The inn is located on the main street with Lake Michigan just outside its back door.

There is a front porch to relax on after a day on the island and a back patio overlooking the crystal blue lake. Lake Michigan is no lie, so clear and sparkles in the sun.

We stayed in the yellow room, which was very nice. Everyone was friendly. A person from the inn picked up our bags from the docks, so we did not have to struggle with them.

Unique Quality: Homemade cookies and lemonade are served in the dining area in mid afternoon. In the evening dessert is served with coffee, the dessert must not be missed. We were served pound cake with fresh berries, whipped cream and sliced almonds. Of course breakfast is served, which was so wonderful. Everything they used was so fresh and yummy.
