Good downtown hotel
We stayed for 1 night for a combined business/ family visit, in August 2010.
The property is located downtown, easy to find. Property was a little dated in appearance but all was in good repair and clean/tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The in-house restaurant offered a good if simple breakfast menu. A bar with entertainment is available for the evening, although we did not have time to see it.
The area has a variety of lower cost motels catering specifically to family/ budget travelers. This hotel is one of the few who seem to be focused on both business and vacation markets.
Unique Quality: Good location in downtown business district.

If you really want a pool
The Ramada offers somewhat standard but acceptable accomodations for travellers who wish to stay in downtown Marquette and who want to have an indoor pool. Actually, a number of the rooms look out over the pool from their balconies or patios. The Ramada is popular with visiting business and sports teams. But if you are looking for something non-traditional, historic, and unique (and not really more expensive), try the Landmark Inn.
