RUDE STAFF STEAL FROM ELDERLY
We were staying there July 24th 2009 for our son's wedding. The father of the bride had a block of rooms set aside at a special rate for the family and friends. But when you called you had to fight and go through 2-3 people to get the rate. They would tell you it was full even when more had been added the day before. When my 80 year-old in-laws tried they had trouble they ask the father of the bride to help them. He called and ask for their rooms to be moved to the block on the 5th floor. The hotel did and used the billing info from the rooms on the 4th floor because the father of the bride had no access to it. But they left the rooms on the 4th floor in my father in-laws name and put the 5th floor rooms in my mother in-law's name. When they checked in they were given the 4th floor. And were billed for those 3 rooms, but when the charge card bill came they were charged for 6 rooms. When they called the hotel they were told by JAMIE in accounting that they were a no show and nothing they could do about it. She even HUNG UP ON THEM!! I tried to call and talk to her about it she was very rude, she said there was nothing they could do about it and we could fight it through the card company but it wouldn't work. We have tried going through the customer service for all Holiday Inns and they won't help. THey said they had contacted the hotel and they would get back to us in 48 hours, that was over a week ago and customer service won't write back after 3 tries. So I would say not to stay ther and watch your card statements.
