Fudge and Fudgies !~ :)

Lots of little fun things to do around here , you just have to get out and find them , explore not only down town but the out skirts and sournding towns as well , and the business down the road . If you were to pay me for these services , to show you the lil cool hot spots and sights to see i would be rich , just go exploring !~~ Well i have pretty much grown up and the water front is one of my favorite spots to be , the water , the sunset and all the people and kids , dogs , kites , the breakwall ! I love it !~
Petoskey, Michigan

For us, Petoskey served as a little more than a place to sleep for five nights while we made day trips to various locations on the northwest coast of Michigan - a jumping off point to our visits in Traverse City, Mackinaw Island, etc.
We did enjoy going to the downtown area and the waterfront park for a stroll with our dog in the evenings after dinner. In spite of what you see in the accompanying photo, there were usually a large number of walkers with whom to share the pleasantly cool evening breezes.
Toward the northern end of the waterfront park is this smaller park sitting on the top of the bluff. It is a favorite for those who like to watch the sunset "into" Lake Michigan.
