Baymont Inn Romulus Airport

We stayed at the Baymont for the second time to use their Park, Stay and Fly deal. The hotel is decent for the cost although both times the hallways smelled like disgusting BO but the staff is very friendly. HOWEVER you should be warned that their parking lot is NOT secure at all! We were gone for three days and came back to find out our car was STOLEN right from their parking lot while we were gone. This does not just happen at the Baymont BUT it is apparently a crime very familiar to that area. PLEASE think twice about leaving your car in any kind of lot like that for ANY period of time. Our car was stolen either the night we stayed there or the first night we were gone from the hotel.

There is no surveillance and little that they can do for you because you sign a waiver to park there at your own risk. The procedure seemed way too familiar to them. I wish I would have known the things I do now about the area and the crime. DO YOUR RESEARCH and trust the reviews!
