More about Korner Kottage Bed & Breakfast

Great food, very relaxing

by TripAdvisor Member barnes_8

My husband and I stayed at the Korner Kottage over Easter weekend. We had a wonderful stay there, though we did not spend that much time in the room as there are so many fun things to do and see on the peninsula. The room was small, but nicely decorated for a B&B, with soft linens and nice personal touches. The best thing about the stay was the delicious and healthy breakfasts, the best we've had at any B&B. Jim and Linda were very friendly as well. Overall, I would recommend the Korner Kottage to anyone looking for a quiet getaway and yummy breakfasts!

Korner Kottage is the perfect B&B!

I was looking for a special place to take my husband for his birthday....Choose to visit the many wonderful wineries in upnorth, Michigan and found Korner Kottage B&B online. It was a great place to stay! The rooms are all very clean and cozy with super comfy beds, plus there's a really relaxing big front porch and gorgeous gardens. Perfect location in the heart of beautiful Suttons Bay. It is walking distance to all of the quaint shops downtown and really close to all of the wineries. Even though we had never met the owners, it felt like we had known Jim and Linda for years! If you are looking for a perfect getaway I highly recommend Korner Kottage in Suttons Bay, MI.....oh and come hungry, they serve an excellent breakfast! My husband and I loved our stay!

It's the details that make Korner Kottage special!

We stayed at the Korner Kottage during our recent weekend getaway. We'd never stayed at a bed and breakfast before, so we didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised by the little details. Every corner of the Korner Kotage was filled with little surprises (like cookies, an espresso machine, lotions, travel guides and board games). We were pleasantly surprised by the fabulous breakfasts too! The food was above and beyond what we ever expected.

If you ever felt reluctant about staying at a B and B, the Korner Kottage will definitely make you a B and B believer!

thanks Jim and Linda

Cozy cottage quarters, perfect location for day trips. Friendly hosts have thought of everything from chocolate on the pillow and homemade granola to breakfast outside in great setting.

Perfect Hosts

My husband and I just returned from a short trip to the Leelanau Peninsula having spent our three nights there at Korner Kottage. Jim and Linda are perfect hosts in this charming bed and breakfast. They possess an intuitive ability to be readily available to answer any questions or to offer suggestions on what to do in the area while at the same time allowing their guests to enjoy the peace and quiet of the wonderful porch or delightful living or dining rooms. Their love for this part of the country is evident in the enthusiastic way they share their knowledge of it with their guests.

The breakfasts were truly delicious; the rooms are comfortable and pristine. Amenities abound. Korner Kottage is a perfect place to relax and feel pampered.

Simply delightful

by TripAdvisor Member aitorluna

We stayed at the Korner Kottage for one night during our honeymoon and we loved it. We love B&Bs, but often owners try so hard to be nice and unique that the places are overwhelming and uncomfortable.

Not the case with Linda and Jim at KK. They were welcoming, warm and entertaining, without being invasive.

The rooms were very comfortable and tastefully decorated, without excess.

Breakfast, delicious.

Total price cheaper than some of the impersonal inns (w/o bkfast) where we also stayed (for example, the Betsie Bay Inn).

All in all, a delightful experience. We will be back for one of our anniversaries!

(Tip: if you stay at KK, visit Samuel's for dinner. Wonderful.)

So Kozy!

Jim and Linda are amazing hosts! We were there for our honeymoon and it couldn't have been better. The bed was so comfy and the room was adorable. I loved the fresh clean white linens. Linda even irons the sheets! Jim makes the best homemade granola along with very yummy breakfasts. A wonderful Austrian Puff Pancake the first day we were there and a savory strata the second. We went for a sunset picnic on the beach and they let us borrow beach towels. They have great suggestions for activities and where to eat, etc. They really thought of everything. It couldn't have been better. I hope we get to return soon!

If you are looking for the perfect place to stay in the Leelanau penninsula, look no more. Located within walking distance of beautiful Suttons Bay, the Korner Kottage is perfect. Once you park you vehicle at the Korner Kottage, you can enjoy Suttons Bay on foot. The B&B is comfortable, clean and hosts Linda & Jim treat you like family. Coffee, tea & cookies for your afternoon enjoyment and the breakfast is out of this world. We had the chance to be served breakfast in the garden and it was a great way to start our day. The screened in front porch is the perfect place to relax, watch the world go by, read or enjoy an evening glass of wine. Our room had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. We will be back.

Home away from home

The perfect bed and breakfast, just big enough to be very comfortable and small enough to make it feel like home. Extremely well appointed with all the extra touches, nothing was overlooked, loved the coffee machine! Great front porch where you feel like you could sit there for a week and watch the world go by. Perfect location in Suttons Bay.
