TC RiverHouse Vacation Rentals + Bed & Breakfast: Downtown Traverse City Riverfront Vacations Rental
Great Location on the river in downtown. Everything has been fully updated in the 1920 Greek Revival home, yet it still reflects the era of construction with the details. Super clean and comfortable. Huge 7' projection TV on lower level which has a whole seperate cottage style and feel to it.
Just a great convienent place in down town Traverse
Unique Quality: Right in the middle of downtown, so convienent to everything, yet situated in a quaint spot on the river. Sleeps 1 to 16 People in #3 units

Fountain Point: Great Family Resort
You can stay in the main building (2nd floor, walk up), but most 'families' stay in the cabins, which form an arch around the yard, facing the lake. No phones, no TV's, rustic style, but very comfortable. A traditional American Lodge from the 1880's.
Unique Quality: Right on Lake Leelanau. There are paddle boats, a swimming beach, fishing piers, boat house and nightly fun for the kids. The main house has a game room (ping pong, pool, board games, and a library. Most nights, the kids (who quickly get to know each other) play one of many hide & seek versions after dark. Most weeks, there is a bonfire down by the lake for the entire resort.
The only drawback, I think is it's greatest benefit. Minimum stay in the cabins is 7 nights (Saturday - Friday). If you're in the main house, it's priced by the night.

There are lots of hotels in...
There are lots of hotels in the area, strive for one on the west bay for the best location and if you're going in the summer around the Cherry festival, book NOW, as early as possible because they fill up fast.
Unique Quality: beautiful views from all but beware of cost, rather pricey. Go in the off season and rates may be more reasonable.
