We ride Motorcycles,so the best thing to do is ride the lake roads. The site seeing is FABULOUS!! You HAave many lakes to choose from,Gull lake,Pequat lake, Mille Lacs,Crosslake and many many more. After a great day of riding there's nothing better than going to get some food, and the BEST place is Squaw Point's The Butcher Block!! The expirence is something you'll NEVER forget. This is a lounge/Restraunt. In the dinning room is a Large Open Grill. You choose the cut of meat you want and take it to the grill. Ther's all the added seasonings you could ever want around the grill. You cook you meat with other people around the grill. You talk about your day and the wonderful time you've had. There is also your salads, potatoesbreads and beverages, too. IT'S A BLAST!!!

Just a short drive from Brainerd is a beautiful lake, Bay Lake, many years I spent my summers their fishing, swimming, and skiing. Another town to visit while in the Brainerd area is Nisswa. It is a very small town, but has some unique gift shops, i.e. indian, antiques, knick knacks, moccasins, and the Best candy store! Nothing like digging your favorite candy of years gone by out of a neverending barrel!

I was born and Raised in Brainerd, MN. Brainerd, Minnesota has to be one of the most all-around fantastic cities in the state. We have a booming economy with a variety of stores and restaurants (Best Buy, Target, Walmart, Menards, etc; and Taco Bell, perkins, McDonalds, etc). Brainerd, and it's smaller counterpart Baxter, have preserved the Up-North atmosphere, and our main economy is based on Tourism. Golf, Fishing, and camping are some of our largest attractions.
