I would take someone to The Depot. The Depot has a panting museum, a children museum, and the favorite part, the train museum, which is about trains, has old shops from 50 years ago and you can also buy a train ticket, and ride up the North Shore. Golfing

Go up to Enger Tower. It is my favorite. The gardens are full of the most beautiful plants & flowers. This tower was dedicated by the Crown Prince of Norway, it stands, 583 feet above lake level. If you go up the tower you can see Duluth, 360 degrees. I also like to pack a picnic and have lunch here with my kids, especially for Mother's Day. Lake Superior, it is huge & beautiful, the view from on top of the hill is gorgeous.

Make sure you give tips! 12-15% is best that equals about what you would give if you double the tax of the bill. This is the only why some of these people make a living.
Ever watch Fargo, it's true they do talk like that.

Lay on the Beach at Park Point

by BrendaSonnabend

Park point is a six mile island connected to Duluth by the Ariel Lift Bridge. The Lakeside is a 7 mile sand beach where you can just lay and relax, join in on a game of volleyball or take a wade in Lake Superior. Swimming is allowed in July, but be careful as the water is very cold.

Mile High Walk

by skib

Well, maybe you're not a mile in the sky, but the William I. Bong Bridge is the highest in Duluth, and fortunately when it was built in the 1980's a walking path was built. This walk is not for the faint at heart, but it's defintately exciting. You can get on the bridge in Duluth and walk over to Superior, WI over the St. Louis Bay. What an amazing experience! It's probably about a 30-40 minute walk, depending on how many times you stop to take in the beautiful view.
