If it's Winter, bring your warm clothes!

For a family vacation, I simply used my roll-aboard TravelPro. Perfecto for a long weekend! Down coat, sweaters, pants, socks, hat and some ear-pops. A little later in to the season and I'd pack my snow-boots. Don't wear them on the plane, because they're too much of a pain to take off and on through the security lines at the airport. Nothing out of the ordinary... toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, etc. For this trip, I simply had my Nikon Coolpix digital camera. 35mm would be fine, too, but I didn't bring it this time. Dress for the cold!
Home to some of my family

I visited Golden Valley in late November to celebrate my grandmother's 89th birthday.
I considered getting together with Guantanamera, who lives not far from my uncle's house, but it was not meant to be. The first night, my cousin, Michael, and I were playing bartender to the family and had a bit too much of our own creations. Then, the next day, I came down with a virus that had me horizontal until it was time to leave for the airport the following afternoon. Well, fine then! I'll just be that way! Next time, Paul, I promise!!
"Watch out, I'm connected!"
Yippee for my cousin, Michael! He's won his first election -- he's now on the Golden Valley City Council. I've already extracted a promise of a cabinet level position in his administration when he's elected President. Check him out!
Karaoke, family style. How frightening. Every time I visit Golden Valley, Michael has gotten another game for the Playstation that has the family enraptured. This time it was some Karaoke game that comes with a headset mic. The family took turns at being booed off the stage. Niiiice.
