What up? Me and a crew of about 8 guys are coming out to Minneapolis the weekend of October 27th and 28th for Eagles vs. Vikings. Were looking for advice on where to party. Preferably a place with a DJ thats playing hip/hop and house/techno/trance music. Suggestions???

Go Uptown and enjoy the small shops dotting the area around Hennepin Ave. and Lake St. The, walk down Lake St. to Lake Calhoun, or take a bus along Hennepin Ave. to downtown. Spejnding time at a local lake, lazing the day away with a fishing rod and a well-stocked tackle box.

Welcoming locals

If you spend some time here, you'll find Minnesotans extremely welcoming folks.
'You betcha!'

However, at first Minnesotans sometimes come across as a bit reserved. They aren't necessarily the most outgoing and wild bunch, but when you get to know them, they are extremely warm and friendly and most important, genuine.

Drive through banking -- Minnesota Style!

Nothing unusual about a drive-thru bank window -- but inside a building? On the second floor???? Everything is downtown Minneapolis is designed to protect you from exposure to the cold during the winter months, but this was a new on on me!

The Mystery

The best wide receiver in the NFL, Randy Moss! Well, he is definitely the most talented receiver. In fact, he's probably the most talented athlete in the league, but he's a bit of a headcase. If he only had the heart to match his talent, he'd be unstoppable. They call him "The Freak" but to me he's a big mystery.

Update: The Vikings traded Randy Moss to the Oakland Raiders prior to the 2005 season and I for one am looking forward to life without Randy. Less drama. More defense and hopefully a championship!
