Affordable though not exciting
The Four Points by Sheraton in Minneapolis is affordable and acceptable, but it's not the most exciting hotel property in the Twin Cities. It's located in a bland and generic commercial area about 10 minutes north of downtown, not really "anywhere" in particular, but if you have a car it's fairly easy to get anywhere from the hotel - which additionally offers free parking.
I got a rate of $50 a night here on Priceline, so I was happy.
My room was perfectly adequate, and the bed was quite comfortable. The Lobby is pleasant, and service at the front desk was efficient. I didn't use the hotel restaurant or room service, but did check out the hotel bar - it was deserted, so I gave it a pass.
