Moondance Inn

I would absolutely recommend this to everyone.

All the rooms have over-sized whirlpools and private baths. The whole Inn is very clean. The hosts, Mike and Chris, are warm and hospitable. They had great suggestions for restaurants and activities.

And the breakfasts! Wow! Delicious! Moondance has its own custom-blend of coffee that's rich and smooth. Every day, we started with fresh fruit so we could pretend it was healthy. But, it was vacation and so the calories don't count. The scones were fluffy, the creme fraiche decadent, the omelet perfect. . .

Go - you'll be so glad.

Unique Quality: The Inn was built in 1874 and still has the original woodwork. The Steuben and Tiffany lights are over a century old.The gilt & stencil ceiling in the foyer is one of only three in Minnesota. The staircase is straight out of Gothic novel. In short, the atmosphere is terribly romantic. The front porch is very deep and welcoming, perfect place to get fresh air.
