Old people visiting Mayo Clinic FLOCK to this place. And I seriously cannot understand why!!
Michael's is trapped in the 1970's, but certainly isn't cool because it is retro. It is dark, dank and not welcoming at all. The food is often overcooked or undercooked.
And I have actually waiting in a line to get into this place, believe that! The waitresses are all 100 years old or older, though they haven't yet learned that you can get a bigger tip if you are nice to your customers.
I just can't understand why people come here so often when Rochester is full of much better restaurants. I know that its convenient location to the Clinic is nice, but that certainly doesn't outweigh the horrible food, atmosphere or service!
