Because of Mayo Clinic and IBM there is an absolutely amazing amount of diverse nationalities and races in this small city of appx. 80,000 people. Many great opportunities exist for learning about cultures and people groups different than your own.
My spouse and I moved to Rochester in 1995. We've lived in Rochester and the surrounding area since then and have enjoyed our time here in SE Minnesota. Rochester is a nice, clean, conservative city that is significant to the area because it is the home to the famous Mayo Clinic.
