Here is something fellow VTer's can look forward too! They are working on building a beautiful new addition to Beauvoir! Sadly, the library pavilion (which use to be the Confederate Soldier's Hospital), the Hayes cottage, Soldier's Home Barracks replica, Confederate Soldier's Museum, gift shop, and the director's home were totally destroyed. She is scheduled to reopen in the summer of 2011.

Biloxi Casinos ,President Casino.

The President Broadwater Resort is a midsize Casino , it is located on what I call the quiet area on the west Beach Blvd .
Here there are 2 Casinos close together The President and the Treasure Bay Casino.
This area is nice and it is less expensive then the downtown Casino area.
The President Casino has acces to 800 rooms it has two Golf courses,8 tennis courts,and a large swimming Pool. It has a large area for Boats and they are right next to the Casino .
Many times I have seen the boats all lit up with lights it looks very nice at night time.

the B R steakhouse is located at the beau rivage hotel and casino in central biloxi. this excellent steakhouse offers prime steak, lobster, stone crab, and local seafood. in my opinion the best steakhouse in the biloxi area. reservations recommended.
Biloxi Lighthouse

The lighthouse located on the beachfront, near the beach and city limits. The cast iron Biloxi Lighthouse was erected in 1848 and stands at 65 feet. It is the only lighthouse in the world that stands in the middle of a four-lane highway (Highway 90) and along the worlds longest man-made beach. The lighthouse is a symbol of Biloxi’s maritime history and its light is one of the most recognizable objects on the Mississippi Gulf Coast .
