Originally located near the waterfront on Lameuse Street, the CREOLE COTTAGE (c. 1850) a typical early tourist cottage, was strongly influenced by the architecture of South Louisiana. In 1905, it became the first permanent free public library in Mississippi.
The Beau Rivage is a beautiful Casino, very nice inside and outside, behind the Casino on the Gulf there is a Marina with large faclities for small boats and very large yachts
Cost of Slip rental is 2,50 per foot (40foot minimum )per day.

There are many dining choices,Spa-Salon, Pool ,Atrim , a beautiful Gaming area .
It is a great Casino.

Located 10 miles west of Gulfport, PASS CHRISTIAN is an idyllic beachfront community. Pass Christian, called simply "The Pass" by locals, stretches for more than 5 miles along the white-sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico.
Stately homes line Scenic Drive, which has been called the "most beautiful street in America."
Hans and I always make a point of driving along Beach Blvd. to visit Pass Christian. It's such an enjoyable drive along the beaches of the Gulf.
Before Katrina the Village Sports Pub was easily one of the best sports bars and one of the best nightlife areas in the Biloxi/Gulfport area. Great food, a huge bar, plenty of TVs made it a fun spot for all. After hours the back room turned into the real party area for the younger crowd.
Sadly, this restaurant and the other stores in Edgewater Village were totally wiped out by Katrina. Only the roof and steel beams remain along this whole strip. There is no sign of reconstruction. Hopefully they will return.
ever since the early 1990's when the state of mississippi legalized casino gambling biloxi has become the "las vegas" of the gulf coast. this new industry has had a huge economic impact on the area. in 2005 hurricane katrina destroyed most of the casinos in biloxi and gulfport but now a number of them have been rebuilt and are back in business. pictured is the beau rivage hotel and casino which in my opinion is the nicest casino in biloxi. for more information on biloxi's casinos see my nightlife tips.
