Next to a loud train track
The Day’s Inn in Brandon is located directly next to a busy (and NOISY) Interstate and a railroad. You’ll hear a train-whistle blow at all times of the night. Also, the hotel shares an entrance with an apartment complex that is located next door to the hotel. There’s really nothing too special about this hotel, as it’s your basic two-star class hotel – good for spending the night, but longer stays aren’t worth it and forget about business amenities as they do not have them. The hotel is located about 7 miles away from the Jackson International Airport, so keep that in mind if you have to catch a flight out of Jackson. Keep in mind during hurricane season, the Brandon hotels will fill up to capacity quickly (and expect the owners to raise to rates as well). Nothing but fast food chains in the area.
Unique Quality: It's located next to the I-20 Interstate, and pet's are not permitted (so the risk of getting a room that smells like a stable in a barn is reduced).
