Free Wi-Fi access while traveling
If you happen to be driving thru Mississippi on I-20, and you have a laptop or a PDA device with a Wi-Fi card, you’re in luck. There are two places in Brandon where you can access the Internet free of charge (and at the most unlikely of places you would expect wireless Internet service).
Krystal (at: 1257 West Government Street), and McDonald's (at: 132 Stribling Lane).
Word of advice. No one at these places knows ANYTHING about how the Wi-Fi service works, so it's helpful to know a thing or two about how your wireless device before utilizing this free service. Also, wear a sweater in Krystal (even in summer) and McDonalds is usually has dirty tables, but it is free Internet service nonetheless.
