We spent one night here as we wanted to get an early start at Shiloh National Battlefield, and Corinth was very close. We arrived in town around 10 pm without a reservation, and was floored at the prices for such a small town. Three hotels on the same street had very few cars in the parking lot, yet two of the three quoted prices around $100!
The Econo Lodge was adequate for one night. The room smelled musty, but the AC cranked up right away. Room was clean enough, but not luxurious by any means. Free breakfast in the morning consisted of coffee, juice, cereal, toast, bagel, hard-boiled egg, and danish. It was free, so I won't complain, but if you wanted/needed more substance, there is a Waffle House directly across the highway.
Unique Quality: It's hard to be enthusiastic - the staff was not friendly, guests down the hall allowed their children to play in the hallway until all hours, but for one night it served it's purpose and did so for less money than other hotels in the same area, which (from the outside, anyway) appeared no better or worse. AND, it got us to Shiloh in about 15 minutes!
