The imperial palace resort is a great place to stay. I t is private and away from the busy boulevard of biloxi but only a quick block away from the beach. The rooms are very spacious and clean with a great view of the back bay. The rooftop pool is so amazing, its a must see to believe. and the Caribe SPA is extra relaxing and pampering to the fullest. 7 Great restuarants in the hotel. Gaming is fun and exciting, loose slots. All in one FABOULOUS HOTEL!
We received a deal online for this place we never stayed before. The room was nice the casino fun the food yuky and the persons at the check In desk were like robots not very friendly. When we asked if we could stay another night at the same rate we were playing they said not without a reservation. Well I believe that is what we were trying to do. The girl was acting like we were wasting her time. On check out we had a different person and they were not friendly either, not even a thank y ou for staying with us have a nice day nothing not even a smile.
I made my reservations and paid for the room 6 months in advance. It was the hotel from hell. I requested a non-smoking room and was put in a smoking room. My children and I both have allergies so we suffered.
Upon check-in I notified the clerk that I had requested and paid for a non-smoking room and was told I had to accept what was available and could not get a refund. One night my son went to the game room and forgot his key he said in the lobby from 9:00 at night until 1:00 in the morning because no one paiged me in the Casino this was not customer service. We checked out early and found a motel that was better. Needless to say I have friends that travel to Biloxi very frequently and I tell them do not stay at this hotel.
My husband and I stayed at the Imperial Palace the weekend of Valentine's Day February 14, 2004. The lines were long, but it did not take us very long to get checked in, the rooms did have a little mold smell, but bearable. We had a big cockroach in our room, we finally caught up with it, called downstairs to get someone up to spray the room, they were very kind about that, they moved us to another room, so they could spray the one we started out in. The food at the Imperial Palace is great, I like that they have the movie theatre there with other activties. I would say that they could do better with the carpet and the bedspreads in the rooms. Not a good color. But overall its a good place to stay.
I've flown to Las Vegas once a year for the last three years and stayed @ The Imperial Palace. It's not a fancy place but they take care of you. I've always chosen March because it's my birthday month & the casino usually mails you a coupon book w/perks. I travel with my parents and my Dad's birthday is also in March. We didn't receive the coupons this year and my Dad called to ask why. The person told him it depended on how much money you gambled in the past (I guess a couple of thousand a year doesn't rate a T-shirt and a couple of free nights!) We're flying there again this year on 3/31(less our flyer & perks) and we've agreed it will be OUR LAST YEAR @ Imperial Palace!
We found the Imperial Palace very accommadating, very clean and tremendously reasonable (you definately get more than you pay for). The comps are second to none....never have we received comps to match the Imperial Palace not even in Vegas. The only complaint we would have if we really looked for one is the pillows need to be replaced. Very friendly hotel staff and casino dealers!!!!!
